Stewardship Groups

Each sangha member has been assigned to a designated stewardship group, inherently creating smaller community groups that will allow sangha members to forge new, deeper connections with each other. Find your group here by mousing over each group and then clicking on your group to comment and interact with other members. We have assigned five in-person groups and two virtual groups, with each led by a Board member. The stewardship groups will be repopulated each year.

Each group will be “on call” for a month at a time. During their on-call month, the group would divvy up a list of responsibilities. For the in-person groups, these responsibilities include:

  1. the monthly temple clean-up
  2. providing snacks for after service and cleaning up afterwards,
  3. set-up and clean-up for any temple potlucks that month, etc.

Our virtual groups will help:

  1. capture post-service Dharma talk highlights
  2. serve as Ekoji’s “Sunshine Committee” in periodically checking in with other sangha members
  3. help host virtual sangha-building initiatives, etc.

To locate your group, see what is being planned for the current month and connect with other members click here and mouse over each group to see who is in each group. Once you locate your group you can comment on the various threads and reply to others.
